Choose 2 Lead conducts research geared towards identifying challenges
that impact today’s working women and today’s employers, as well as
creative solutions. We bring unique, multidisciplinary skills and perspectives
to projects; between us, we have spent decades working in a vast range
of organizations, from executive and legislative branches to the financial
industry, small business, media, and non-profit sectors. We have lived
with–or are about to be living with–the realities of juggling work and
family responsibilities, like many, many women across the nation. We
know that workforce demographics have shifted over time, and that the
needs of the workforce have changed, which causes challenges for employees
as well as employers. To date, our research has focused on two key questions:
1) How has the female workforce changed over time, and what are working
women’s perspectives today? 2) How can you meet the needs of the 21st
century worker and achieve organizational gains concurrently? Our research
papers were sponsored by the Women’s Bureau U.S. Department of Labor,
and are summarized under Publications.
